On January 29, 2026, we provided a one-stop service and successfully resolved a problem for a Qatar customer whose 120W LED modules had burned out due to heat dissipation issues.
One of our customers in Qatar sent us a picture of a burnt LED PCB board and yellowed LED lenses.

This customer used 96 LUMILEDS 3030 LED chips, divided into two groups, with a total power of 120 watts, for street lighting applications. The LED chips and optical design of this LED module were fine, but the LED heatsink was not large enough. LEDs generate heat during prolonged operation. If the heat cannot be dissipated, the LED chips will burn out, and the originally transparent lenses will turn yellow.

For example, our standard 64-chip 3030 LED module uses a 50-60 watt design with a heatsink size of 300*70*40mm. The customer's heatsink was only 200*60*37mm. In an environment with already high ambient temperatures, the heat could not be dissipated effectively.

Therefore, we recommended that the customer use a 300*70*40mm LED heatsink. The total number of units requiring repair was approximately 500. The customer ultimately adopted our solution and replaced all 500 LED modules.
