Product Overview

This 30W 940nm IR COB LED features a compact 40×36mm package with an approximately 5.14mm luminous area, forward voltage of 10–14V, recommended drive current of 2A, radiant flux around 15–18W, a 120° viewing angle and a typical lifetime up to 50,000 hours. Emitting at 940nm, it is effectively invisible to the human eye, enabling “no‑red‑glow” covert illumination that is preferred over 850nm in applications demanding stealth such as security, surveillance and sensing.

Key Features

At 940nm, the IR emission is effectively invisible with no red glow typical of 850nm LEDs, making it ideal for CCTV cameras, security illuminators and night‑vision systems where the light source must remain covert.

The 30W COB engine delivers roughly 15–18W radiant flux and, combined with external lenses or reflectors, can achieve strong mid‑ to long‑range IR illumination with improved contrast for imaging systems.

The 40×36mm substrate and ~5.14mm luminous area simplify secondary optics design—such as lenses, reflectors or light pipes—for narrow or elliptical beams tailored to specific camera fields of view.
