FAQ

Q: Can this 30W COB drop into my existing street lamp housing?

A: The module is 56 x 40 mm with a standard COB mounting face. Send us your housing drawing or the old module photo with screw positions and height clearance, and we will confirm fit before you order.

Q: What heatsink and thermal interface do I need for a 30W module?

A: Use a heatsink rated for at least 30W continuous dissipation with a thermal pad or grease between module and heatsink, and keep the case temperature within the LM-80 test condition. Undersized heatsinks cause the lumen depreciation that most street lamp failures come from.

Q: How does the 10 series x 3 parallel layout change my driver choice?

A: It needs a constant current driver at 1050 mA with an output window covering 30-36V. This is not interchangeable with the 20W 5S4P module running 1400 mA at 15-18V, so check the driver label before swapping modules in the field.

Q: How do you keep color and brightness consistent across production batches?

A: Chips are binned by flux and CCT before assembly, so each shipment sits inside one bin rather than a mixed spread. LM-80 data and a batch test report can be attached to your PO.

Q: Which optics and drivers can be matched to this module?

A: Lenses, MCPCB modules and constant current drivers come from the same factory, so the light source, beam angle and driver current are matched as one set instead of sourced separately.

Q: What are the terms for project quantities?

A: MOQ is 100 pcs with price breaks above 1000 pcs, OEM labeling available, samples in 3-4 working days, 2 years warranty on the module.
