78mm diameter borosilicate glass optic with a 60x120 degree asymmetric beam, built for 30W, 50W and 100W CXB3590 COB modules. The kit ships with lens, silicone gasket, metal holder, PC holder and reflector, so the optic drops straight into high bay, street and flood light fixtures. 93% transmittance and plano-convex optical design deliver even illuminance with sharp cut-off on the roadway.

What is the difference between a glass lens and a PC or PMMA lens?
A: Optical glass offers high temperature resistance, no UV-induced yellowing, high scratch resistance and good resistance to most solvents. Optical-grade PC and PMMA are lighter, far more impact resistant, cheaper to mould in complex shapes, and do not shatter. 
What type of glass is normally used for LED optics?
A: LED optical lenses supplied as glass are commonly made from borosilicate glass, chosen for its thermal shock resistance and low thermal expansion. 
What is the white ring on the left?
A: That is a separate silicone sealing gasket — not part of the lens material. It sits in the sealing channel between the lens flange and the fixture housing, and its function is to keep water and dust out of the optical chamber. It is compressed when the bezel is screwed down.
What is the metal ring on the right?
A: That is a fixing bezel or trim ring. It clamps the lens and gasket against the housing and provides the screw fixing points. The screw holes visible at opposite corners are for fastening. 
Can this assembly be customized?
A: Yes. OEM and ODM options may cover the lens outline and thickness, the optical profile and beam distribution, the glass grade and edge finish, coatings, the gasket profile and hardness, the bezel material and surface finish, screw hole position, and packaging.

What are the advantages of a glass lens in outdoor lighting?
A: Glass does not yellow under UV exposure, withstands higher LED junction and ambient temperatures, resists scratching and most cleaning chemicals, and maintains optical clarity over a long service life.
