1.28A 28W Constant Current LED Driver for E27/E40 LED Street Lights. Model AT1585-7S4P is an isolated, waterproof constant current driver built for 28W LED modules wired in 7-series 4-parallel or 28-in-series. It accepts a wide AC100-240V input and delivers a stable 1.28A output with power factor above 0.9, fully ROHS compliant. Its compact 67 x 25 mm PCB and round plastic housing make it easy to integrate into E27/E40 LED street light, tunnel lamp, highway lamp and square lamp fixtures.

What is the output power of this driver?
A: Because the output is constant current at 1.2A across a 21–25V range, the output power falls between approximately 25.2W and 30W, depending on the actual forward voltage of the connected LED string.
What does "constant current" mean, and why does it matter?
A: A constant-current driver maintains a fixed output current (here 1.2A) while the output voltage adjusts within its rated range. LED brightness is proportional to current, so this keeps lumen output and color stable even as the LED forward voltage shifts with temperature. It also protects the LEDs from current runaway.
What LED modules can this driver power?
A: The connected LED string must have a total forward voltage between 21V and 25V, and be rated for a 1.2A drive current. For illustration, a series string of roughly 7–8 white LEDs at about 3V forward voltage each would fall in this range — the exact number must be calculated from your actual LED's datasheet Vf.
What happens if the LED string voltage falls outside 21–25V?
A: If the string voltage is below the rated range, the driver may not regulate correctly or could over-drive the LEDs. If it is above the range, the driver may fail to reach its rated current, resulting in reduced brightness or unstable operation. Always confirm that the string voltage at operating temperature sits inside the 21–25V window.
What is the input voltage range, and can it be used worldwide?
A: The input is a full-range AC 100–240V, 50/60Hz, with no voltage selector switch required. This makes it suitable for direct use in most markets, including 110V regions such as North America and 220–240V regions such as the EU and UK.
What is the power factor, and why is it important?
A: The label states λ ≥ 0.9. A power factor of 0.9 or higher reduces reactive current drawn from the mains and helps luminaires meet harmonic-current and power-quality requirements in commercial and project installations.
What do Ta = 40°C and Tc = 80°C mean?
A: Ta is the maximum ambient temperature at which the driver is rated to operate (40°C). Tc is the maximum permitted case temperature (80°C). The luminaire must be designed so that the driver's case does not exceed 80°C in the final installation — this is determined by the heatsink or housing, airflow, and the driver's mounting position.
